Since 1979, the Polish National
Since 1979, the Polish National Show has been celebrating the crème-de-la-crème of the Polish breeding program. Once a friendly rivalry between the four established State Studs, the event has evolved into a world-class competition showcasing the elite of the State Studs as well as the impressive and progressive private breeding programs of Poland. Many of the Poland’s best and brightest found initial success at the Polish National Show, including international sensations POGROM, EMANDORIA & PIANISSIMA: all Polish National Junior Champions. Considered the toughest National Championship in the world with astounding depth of quality, the ultimate honour of Polish National Champion is a badge of pride that has eluded many an international superstar, including World Champions KWESTURA, ZAGROBLA & EMANDA. It is a show full of remarkable surprises, best illustrated in the victory of NORMA as 2013 Polish National Champion Mare/Best in Show, a respected nine-year old Polish broodmare who had not stepped foot inside the show ring since her yearling year when she won World Top Ten honours in Paris. It is the proving grounds for the universally venerated “E” and “P” families of the Polish breeding program, as well as the chance for members of Poland’s other respected dam lines to best their better known stablemates. It is passion and glory, fanfare and acclaim, exhilaration and inspiration: the ultimate celebration of Poland and its beloved Arabian horse.
