{"id":34869,"date":"2016-02-24T07:51:55","date_gmt":"2016-02-24T04:51:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.alassalah.com\/en\/?p=34869"},"modified":"2016-02-24T07:51:55","modified_gmt":"2016-02-24T04:51:55","slug":"34869","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.alassalah.com\/en\/2016\/02\/24\/34869\/","title":{"rendered":"Support grows for leading Polish Arabian figures sacked from State roles"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hundreds of Polish arabian horse supporters have signed a petition calling for the reinstatement of three leading figures in Poland\u2019s State breeding industry.<br \/>\n<span id=\"more-82247\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Online petitions in both English and Polish are asking that\u00a0Janow Podlaski Director Marek Trela, Michalow Director Jerzy Bialobok, and the Agricultural Property Agency\u2019s Chief Arabian Horse Specialist Anna Stojanowska, be returned to their jobs after they were \u201creleased from employment\u201d by the\u00a0Polish Ministry of Agriculture and\u00a0the Agricultural Property Agency\u00a0on Febraury 19.<\/p>\n<p>In an open letter, the organisers of the petition express their \u201cregrets and grave concern over these sudden and unfortunate decisions\u201d.<a href=\"https:\/\/www.alassalah.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/polish.jpg\" class=\"wp_lightbox\" rel=\"post_34869\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-34871\"><img class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-34871\" src=\"https:\/\/www.alassalah.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/polish.jpg\" alt=\"polish\" width=\"171\" height=\"247\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cAll three persons have for years been loyally associated with national Arabian horse breeding at the state studs, devoting their talent and both professional and personal lives to these jobs. Each of them had begun their career from hands-on experience and thoroughly getting to know the requirements of the job, successively working their way through all career stages, under the watchful eye of legendary mentors Andrzej Krzyszta\u0142owicz and Ignacy Jaworowski.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe creation of the power that Polish Arabian horse breeding is today took place as a result of their personal involvement and dedication \u2013 through everyday work at the studs, but also by gaining connections, trust, authority and respect all over the world,\u201d the letter says.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPolish Arabian horses are a part of our national heritage. Thanks to maintaining the continuity of existence and the supervision of the Polish State over the studs, they have also become the only national export product that has uninterruptedly enjoyed a growing recognition among buyers all over the world.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe breeding of Arabian horses is an extremely sensitive field and every sudden change may lead to unpleasant and irreversible consequences. One of the elements of success is the continuity of its existence, guaranteed by the maintaining of a state-owned status by the most valuable studs. The\u00a0second should be the ensuring of the best, professionally trained staff: from the very basic stable employees to the very top, the so-called \u2018heads\u2019 in the form of experienced breeders, managers, presidents. We are under the impression that the head has just been separated from the body.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The petition makes it clear that those signing are not authorised to speak on behalf of the trio, but that they feel\u00a0\u201cthey should at least have a chance to return within the structures of Polish breeding in order to complete their lives\u2019 work and school their successors\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The English-language petition, which had nearly 2000 of the required 2500 signatures at the time of writing, said letters in support of the reinstatement\u00a0should be directed to\u00a0ZNW (Zesp\u00f3\u0142 Nadzoru W\u0142a\u015bcicielskiego) ANR director\u00a0Andrzej Sutkowski, and Miroslaw Helta from the ANR\u2019s Breeding Section.<\/p>\n<p>Src:\u00a0horsetalk.co.nz<\/p>\n<!-- AddThis Advanced Settings generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Share Buttons generic via filter on the_content -->","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hundreds of Polish arabian horse supporters have signed a petition calling for the reinstatement of three leading figures in Poland\u2019s State breeding industry.
